Professional Image (Dress Code)

All Future Professionals must adhere to the following professional image standards while in attendance:

  1. Clothing that is clean and professional.
  2. Shoes, in any color, should be professional, practical, and comfortable.
  3. Hair should be styled and any cosmetics should be applied prior to arriving at the school campus.
  4. Sleeveless tops with straps are allowed.
  5. Name tags provided by the school are required to be worn while attending school.
  6. Future Professionals may wear a smock or scrub top in any color as long as it does not include your brand or any other industry related brands.
  7. Future Professionals may wear an apron in any color if it does not include your brand or any other industry related brands.
  8. Sweatshirts, printed T- shirts, hooded sweatshirts and/or jackets may be worn. They may not have any political messages, crude messaging and/or branding and does not include other industry related brands.
  9. Stylish hats, scarves, and stylish head wraps of any color may be worn.

    The following is a list of unacceptable dress for all Future Professionals in attendance:
    1. Athletic wear.
    2. Pants that are pajamas or pajamas material are not acceptable.
    3. Shorts and/or skirts that fall above fingertip length.
    4. Spandex like biking shorts must fall below fingertip length.
    5. If leggings are worn, they must be worn with a top that is at least at fingertip length to full cover the front and back of the individual wearing it.
    6. Crop tops or shirts not covering your midriff are not permitted.
    7. Sunglasses are not permitted.

Future Professionals who fail to comply with the Future Professional dress code may be coached, asked to change their attire and may receive an advisory.
